I have really, …
I have really, really tight teeth, and floss is really uncomfortable for me. Because of that, I have packages of floss that have gone unused, and I’m concerned that I’m not taking the best care of my teeth. As someone who uses this technique, which I’ve just learned about, do you recommend I get a professional cleaning, before starting with this? Also, is it at all painful? Thanks a lot.

lol, not really …
lol, not really sure what you are talking about but I ure you that if properly used (low setting) a waterpik can not only improve the health of your teeth but also your gums.. Take it from a guy who has never had a single cavity in his entire life..

do you ever …
do you ever question these things you believe or just ume them to be true because that’s what the so-called experts told you?
1. salmonella already exists in your digestive tract, as does e-coli, a healthy body nourished by healthy raw food does not get sick from ingesting bacteria. how else could the human race have survived the thousands of years before antibiotics?
2. teeth do heal, it’s called remineralization and it’s proven. your bones heal when you break them, it’s the same concept.

What difference …
What difference would it make if she was Canadian or not? What a stupid question.

I also have very …
I also have very tight teeth and I have to fight every tooth to get the floss in, and some teeth I can’t use the up and down technique so I use the saw technique. Also make sure you use the right floss for tight teeth, I use “Crest, Glide” it works great!.. As long as you use the waterpik on a low setting at first, you will be fine, after your gums get stronger you can begin to increase the pressure, and yes I would recommend getting your teeth cleaned if you haven’t in the last 12 months.

1. It’s risky to …
1. It’s risky to eat raw eggs – salmanella.
2. Once the tooth has a cavity/hole, how do you suppose it’s goint to “heal up”? It doesn’t regenerate like skin.

JudiG May 3, 2009 at 8:14 am

I was just about to …
I was just about to post exactly that.

About the wisdom …
About the wisdom teeth part, make sure you do not knock out the blood clot that is needed to form after surgery or you will end up with a dry socket. Oral surgeons usually recommend you don’t spit or swish anything around your mouth for 2-3 days after getting extractions to prevent this.

natural cure for …
natural cure for cavities: eat a raw-egg fruit smoothie every day. my recipe is 1 orange, 1 raw egg, 1 packet of stevia to sweeten it. sometimes i add plain yogurt. try 1 or 2 of these a day for a month and your tooth pain will be gone, and your cavities will eventually heal up for good. you’ll also want to avoid flouride altogether, I use plain baking soda instead of toothpaste, it works better and doesn’t screw up your teeth like flouride.
